Black Knight's Fortress Quest

2. 1 Bronze Med. Helmet (needed)
3. 1 Iron Chainbody (needed)
4. Bring Extra Food in case you need it when attacked in the fortress (optional)
-Use these to finish the Fortress Guard look:
1. 1 Bronze Square Shield
2. Any Iron Weapon
3. 1 Black Cape

Requirements-
1. 13 Quest Points
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to Sir Amik Varze, located on the third (with the ground floor being the first) floor in the western tower of the White Knight's Castle in Falador. Sir Amik asks you to 'check on' the Black Knights' Fortress (north side of Ice Mountain) and will give you a Dossier of information. Once the bronze helm and and iron chain-mail has been equipped, talking to the guards will give a response: "Hey, get back on duty!". They think you are a guard and can enter the fortress.
Once inside, the disguise will no longer be necessary and you may switch to your better armour if you brought some (very strongly recommended!) Enter the sturdy door on the south side of the fortress, and then push on the north wall you are facing to enter a secret area.
Climb up the ladder (L1), then the ladder you find on the next floor (L3). On this floor there are boxes blocking the way, so proceed down (L4), enter the room to the east with a fenced off section. Head up (L5) then down (L6) to get to the eastern side of the room. There is a Chaos altar here if you need to recharge your prayer. Proceed through the door and then down ladder (L7), where you will be in a hallway behind the witches room. At the end of this hallway 'listen at grill' to hear the devious plan of the black knights and the witch, and how to stop it.
Stopping the Evil Plan Reverse your path now, and get back to the the main floor where you first entered. There is a door to the east into a dining room which you will need to go in.
One of the guards will try and stop you, warning that the black knights will kill anybody who enters the room. This isn't unreasonable, as there are five black knights that are aggressive in this small room and can kill low-level players if they aren't careful. Respond "I don't care. I'm going in anyway." to enter this room.
Quickly take ladder L2 up bypassing the black knights. Walk to the end of this passage and push the wall into a small room right over the witches room. There is a hole in floor directly above the witches cauldron. USE the cabbage on this hole and watch it tumble into the cauldron. The potion becomes ruined. Make your way back to Sir Amik in Falador any way you choose where you will be granted your reward. For finishing this quest you will get 2500 coins and 3 Quest Points.

Cooks Assistant Quest

To get the MILK, have a BUCKET ready, and go to the COW FIELDS. To get the FLOUR, have a POT ready, and go to the FLOUR MILL in between Lumbridge and Draynor. Then you are ready to end the quest and go talk to the cook. You will then get lots of COOKING EXPERIENCE and 1 QUEST POINT.

Demon Slayer Quest

1. 1 Coin

3. 1 Bucket Of Water

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

How To Start: Talk to Gypsy Aris in the TENT in Varrock's Town Center. After being paid one coin, The Gypsy will tell you about a story involving a demon named Delrith. He is being summoned again, and you have to kill him. She tells you to talk to Sir Prysin to help. So, go north to Varrock Castle, and on the western side of the castle, Sir Prysin should be walking around. The gypsy will give you an incantation. Write this down, as it is different for each player. In the current version, it is 5 words, which, seeing as some are repeated, means more than 125 possible permutations. If you do forget the incantation, simply talk to The Gypsy again at any time during the quest, and she'll tell you it.
Tell Sir Prysin that The Gypsy sent you. Ask for Silverlight, the weapon needed to kill Delrith. He will say he kept it hidden because of it being so powerful and needs three keys to open it.

The First Key- Go to the room in the northwest corner of the castle and climb the stairs. You will be in a room with guards. Climb the stairs in this room. Captain Rovin will be walking around. Talk to him and tell him that what you're talking about is important. Tell him that a demon is going to invade the city, and that you have to defeat it. Select the option that says Sir Prysin said he would give you the key and then select the option that says "Then why did he give you the key?". After a little talk about Sir Prysin's clumsiness he will hand it to you.

The Second Key- The key is stuck down a drain in the kitchen in the castle. Go get a bucket just upstairs the kitchen and fill it with water, use the bucket of water on the drain and the key should go down into the sewers. Go down the man hole just east from there(marked with an exclamation mark)just outside the castle walls. You won't have to face anything dangerous. Follow a path north-west until you get to a stream and search around there. Your minimap will not show you where the key is. Look for a "rusty key".

The Third Key- To be quick, just get 25 bones. Then, head to the Wizard's Tower, located south of Draynor Village. When you're inside the tower, climb the stairs to go to the second floor. Talk to Wizard Traiborn about the key, and he will ask for 25 bones. If you have them already, give them to him. If not, go get 25 bones by killing the wizards walking about or go into the cellar to kill chickens. When he's done his ritual he will give you his key. He will not take bank noted bones.

Go back and talk to Sir Prysin. He will give you Silverlight. Now that you have the legendary sword, Silverlight in your possession, it is time to banish the demon Delrith. Wield Delrith and bring some good armor and food, and get ready to fight. Head south of Varrock until you reach the entrance with the guards walking around. Go a bit east to the stone circle surrounded by 6 or 7 Dark Wizards.

Also, it is optional to go back to Gypsy Aris and get the incantation again.

A good tactic is to turn off Auto-Retaliate in the Combat Style Menu, so if a dark wizard attacks you, the user won't go charging at the Wizard, and instead target Delrith. If a wizard is stopping you, hide behind one of the stone pillars, where they cannot see you, and wait for Delrith to walk close. If you are lower-leveled than Delrith, you'll have to right-click on him, and select Attack, instead of directly clicking on him. Your player will charge at him, resulting in a combat. The dark wizards will continue walking around doing nothing. Delrith has only seven Hitpoints, and if you are over level 20, then it is a high chance to have a 1 hit kill. After his hitpoints reach 0, he will bend over, now becoming Weakened Delrith, who is combat level 1 and has 0 hitpoints. Now you will get a small menu, with the words of the incantation. Repeat the 5 words like Gypsy Aris said, and Delrith will get sucked into a vortex and be banished from the realm. When you have finished, you will be rewarded with the Silverlight and 3 Quest Points! The weapon Silverlight; if you lose Silverlight, you can buy a new one from Sir Pyrsin for 500 gold coins. You can also sell it to The Wise Old Man for 80 gold coins. If you are a member, you can talk to Historian Minas at the Varrock Museum to receive 5 Kudos and there will be a Varrock Museum display of Silverlight.

Doric's Quest

Items Needed-
1. 6 Clay
2. 4 Copper Ore
3. 2 Iron Ore
4. 1 Pickaxe, any kind, or about 500 Coins

Requirements-
1. A Mining level of 15 if you wish to mine the Iron Ore
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Go to the small house North of Falador with anvils inside, outside the East gate of Taverly. Once inside, talk with Doric. Doric, a Dwarf, will tell you he needs some materials in order to manufacture some pickaxes. He wants you to get him 6 lumps of Clay, 4 Copper Ores, and 2 Iron Ores. Doric can be found in a small building on the intersection of the roads north from Falador, east of Taverly, and south of the Goblin Village, directly in front of the city gate to Taverly. Where you obtain the ores is irrelevant, and can be obtain from either another player, from the Grand Exchange, by mining the ores yourself (level 15 Mining is required for iron ore), or purchasing from the Dwarven Ore store in the Dwarven Mines underneath Ice Mountain and Falador. You can mine these ores in any mine that produces these ores in the game. Be wary of traveling into the Dwarven Mines, as there are aggressive Scorpions (level 14) that will attack you in some parts of the mine. Be prepared to fight them or flee from them if you travel into some parts of those mining areas. For a "safe" area to obtain all of these ores, you can also travel to the mine directly south of Falador. When you have all the ores needed, return to Doric to finish the quest. If you have the ores with you when you start the quest, simply talk to Doric again after he asks for the materials. When you have completed this quest you will be rewarded with 1 Quest Point, 1,300 Mining Experience, 180 Coins, and the use of Doric's anvils!

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to the Guildmaster in the Champion's Guild. After asking him for a quest, he will tell you to talk to Oziach, who is located west of Edgeville and is very close to the wilderness. Oziach says that to be able to buy a Rune Platebody from him, you have to kill Elvarg the dragon, who is located on Crandor Isle. You will need to obtain three pieces of the map to get to the island. He will tell you to go the the Guildmaster for information on how to kill Elvarg. Ask the Guildmaster about all three map pieces (make sure to ask about all three or you can't proceed with the other pieces) and he will give you the Key to Melzar's Maze.

Obtaining an Anti-Dragon shield- Go to Lumbridge and talk to Duke Horacio, who can be found on the first floor of Lumbridge Castle. Ask him about a shield that will protect you from a Dragon's fire breath. He will then give you the Anti-Dragon Shield. Note that if you lose your current shield, you can talk to him again to get another. Players may also get multiple shields by talking to him, getting one, dropping it, and then talking to him again. This process can be repeated indefinitely.

For now, put the shield or shields in the bank and hold onto them until later on in the quest. If you intend to complete the quest in one long run, hold it in your inventory, but don't equip it until you get to Crandor Isle.

Obtaining the Map Pieces These map pieces may be obtained in any order. Once you have all three, use any piece on any other piece to form the complete Crandor Map.

First Map Piece The first piece is found in Melzar's Maze, south of the Crafting Guild. Players should bring some food and armour for the fight with the Lesser Demon. To enter, use the maze key on the door then do the following:

Kill Zombie Rats until they drop the Red Key. Use this on the north-west door, then go up the ladder.
The Orange Key is dropped by Ghosts. This allows players to enter the middle door along the east wall. Go up the next ladder.
Kill the Skeleton with the small shield, which drops the Yellow Key. Use it on the southwest door and keep climbing down until you get to the zombies.
Kill Zombies until you get a Blue Key. Use it on the north-east door.

You must now fight Melzar The Mad, but be cautious as he attacks players with Magic. Melzar the Mad has the ability to use the Fire Strike and Weaken Magic spells. He drops the Magenta Key. Use this key on the magenta colored door to the Lesser Demon.

Players must then kill the Lesser Demon, which drops the Green Key. Note that there is a safe spot behind one of the wooden boxes. Use the key on the door and grab the piece of map from the chest. Recommended for players focused on melee: Silverlight because it has the power of a Longsword against demon based monsters. Recommended for rangers: At least a Maple Longbow with Steel Arrows. Recommended for Mages: At least bolt-class spells. If you plan on defeating the demon via Ranged or Magic, you should be near the exit door because you can get him, but he can't get you. There is another method if you prefer to use melee. using a two-space weapon, such as a Halberd. While having run on, lure the demon towards the door. Then run around and go to the space near the corner of the wall and next to the sack. This will get the demon stuck on the other side. Then run back around to the door. If you then choose the option to attack him from the door, your player should walk around and attack the demon, but the demon won't attack you.

Once the Demon is dead, and his key is used to open the next door, open the chest and you will have completed Melzar's Maze.

Second Map Piece- Talking to the Oracle, who is located on Ice Mountain, she tells you the following puzzle:

"The map's behind a door below,
but entering is rather tough
This is what you need to know,
You must use the following stuff:

First, a drink used by a mage,
Next, some worm string changed to a sheet,
Then, a small crustacean cage,
Last, a bowl that's not seen heat."

To obtain this piece of the map, you'll need an Unfired Bowl("bowl that's not seen heat"), whether it be bought or created with the Crafting skill, a Wizard's Mind Bomb("drink used by a mage"), which can be bought in Falador for 3 coins, a Lobster Pot("small crustacean cage"), which can be bought in Port Sarim, and a piece of Silk("worm string changed to a sheet"), which can be bought in Al Kharid, and also in Varrock in Thessalia's.

Once you have all these items, talk to the Oracle. Then, when the Oracle is done talking, go into the Dwarven Mine with all of the items.

Inside the mine, there is a section that is normally blocked off in the northeast part of the mines. It is just north of the area with the Scorpions. When you've found it, use all the items on the "Magical Door". Be sure to use the Wizard's Mind Bomb with the door, as the left-click action for it is to drink it. They will disappear after usage.

If you hadn't spoken with the Oracle, when you put something in the door it will say "I have no idea what I should put in the opening of this door. Maybe I should just leave it for now".

When you open the chest inside, the following message is displayed:

"Here I rest the map to my beloved home. To whoever finds it, I beg of you, let it be. I was honor-bound not to destroy the map piece, but I have used all of my magical skill to keep it from being recovered.

This map leads to the lair of the beast that destroyed my home, devoured my family, and burned to a cinder all that I love. But revenge would not benefit me now, and to disturb this beast is to risk bringing its wrath down upon another land.

I cannot stop you from taking this map piece now, but think on this: if you can slay the Dragon of Crandor, you are a greater hero than my land ever produced. There is no shame in backing out now." After the chest is open, search for the second map piece.

Third Map Piece The third and final piece is obtained by doing one of two things. Both involve Wormbrain in Port Sarim jail.

You can kill him using range, magic or melee if you are using a halberd and use Telekenetic Grab to get the piece. Alternatively, you can pay 10,000 coins for it.

Note: in Runescape Classic, the first version of Runescape, Telekinetic Grab was the only way to get the third map piece after some quest items were made nontradeable.

Once all three pieces have been found, you simply use any two together and they will all combine into the treasure map.

Multiple Maps It is possible to have multiple maps after the quest. However when you are trying to combine the pieces of map, you MUST drop them to floor temporarily.

If you bank the additional pieces, they will disappear after you combined the one on your hand.

Obtaining a Ship

(Note that you have to talk to the guild master before you can purchase the ship) You will need 6 Steel Bars, a Hammer and 3 regular wood Planks (higher value planks won't work). Smith 6 steel bars into 90 Steel Nails, or you can buy them from the Guild Master in the Champion's Guild, General Store or other players. Next, get a Hammer and 2,000 coins. Go to Port Sarim and look for Klarese, a sailor. He is located in the southern docks. He will sell you his boat named Lady Lumbridge for 2,000 coins. Pay him the 2,000 coins and the boat is now yours. Go on the ship and go inside it. Repair the hole in the ship by using the Planks with the hole. Do this three times and the hole will be repaired. Next, go to Draynor Village and find Ned, the person who makes ropes for you. Bring your map. Ask him to be the captain and help sail you to Crandor. He will agree and tell you to meet him on your ship.

While at Draynor Village, stop by the bank and get yourself equipped with all of your gear that you will want to bring to combat Elvarg, including Potions, food, and ammunition (if ranging). You may also wish to stop by the chapel near Port Sarim before getting onto the ship, to boost your prayer points.

Don't forget to wield your anti-dragon fire shield.

The Fight Now it is time to prepare. Bring three good items: your Anti-Dragon/Dragonfire shield, a weapon and armour. The rest of your inventory should be filled with food; Lobsters or Swordfish would do. Swordfish (14hp) would be preferable even though they are more expensive than lobsters (12hp) and harder to obtain. Another good alternative is Meat or Anchovy Pizzas as they can heal more than Swordfish. You can heal more per inventory slot though you need 2 bites to finish a pizza. A meat pizza heals 8 HP per bite (16hp in 2 bites) while an anchovy pizza heals 9 per bite (18 hp in 2 bites). This means that in general, pizzas would be better but you have less chance of surviving if the battle takes an unlucky turn. If you are a member, you can use monkfish (16 hp) or sharks (20 hp), or even a tuna potato (22 hp) although this may not be necessary.

Go to your ship and sail to Crandor Isle. You shall experience a short cutscene, where Elvarg flies over your ship in circles and sets it on fire! Cabin Boy Jenkins starts to panic. He will catch on fire, taking a random amount of damage and dies. After crashing on the island, make your way through the island to the top, avoiding the monsters there. You'll see stairs behind some lesser demons. Run past them and go down the stairs. You will see a short cutscene of Elvarg coming towards you. You'll be in a cave surrounded by skeletons. Keep walking and you'll see Elvarg behind a short wall of spikes protruding from the ground on the east. Climb over it, making sure that your anti-dragonfire shield is equipped. Fight Elvarg and defeat her.

It is advised to use stab or crush attacks, with weapons such as swords, warhammers or battleaxes since Elvarg has slash resistance, so slash attacks are more likely to miss. It is still possible to do the quest with a slash weapon like a scimitar but is a little harder. Make sure you can still equip your anti-dragonfire shield or the fight will be over before you can get her to half health or even at least hitting her 3 times regardless of high healing food.

Note: If for any reason you leave the island (death, restock on food, ect.) before killing Elvarg, you can return through the "secret" entrance (see below), or through Lady Lumbridge. If the latter is chosen, you will need to repair the ship again. However, you will not be able to sail back on Lady Lumbridge if you have found the "secret" entrance.

Battle Strategies For stab or crush attacks an Adamant Longsword/Rune Longsword would work the best. You could also use a Rune Battleaxe, however adamant battleaxes aren't recommended. If you are a member then you should use a Dragon Dagger p++ or a Dragon Longsword, as well as an Antifire Potion(s).

If you use range on the dragon, make sure you are using a Crossbow since it is one-handed, unlike a bow which is two-handed. With the crossbow, you are still able to equip the Anti-Dragon Shield necessary for the quest. This is more of an option for members as they have access to far better crossbows and bolts.

Although it is NOT recommended that you use Magic, it's recommended that you use the Fire Bolt spell or higher. Using spells below bolt level is NOT recommended. It's also not a good idea to use magic because Dragonhide is naturally strong against magic attacks. As always, equip the Anti-Dragonfire Shield when fighting. Also bring teleportation Runes just in case your health gets low and you have no food left. Spells that weaken Elvarg can help, but are not needed. It is recommended that you bring at least 50 of each Rune if you are using the Fire Bolt spell. For lower level Spells, bring more Runes to cast. Remember to keep away from Elvarg's claws, they will do incredible damage without sufficient metal Armor. Also, notice your Prayer is slowly drained during combat, hence protection prayer would last shorter time.

For players attacking Elvarg from a distance, there is a safe spot in the south-east area of her lair behind a wall of stalagmites.

Although it is up to you to determine what fighting style best suits you, it is not recommended that you fight from far away with range or magic. Instead fight with melee as Elvarg's dragonfire hits higher than her melee attack. With the anti-dragon shield equipped, Elvarg`s max hit is 13, so remeber to bring some food along. Elvarg may hit rapidly high with her dragonfire. For members it is recommended to use a Anti-fire Potion to negate all damage from her fire breath. Although it is possible to use a Two-handed weapon and an antifire potion, it is still not recommended. For members, a good replacement for an Anti-Dragon Shield is a Dragonfire Shield though it is unlikely that a player will have the requirements. If you are a level 50, Elvarg should be pretty easy if you have a full inventory of food like Lobsters. Level 40's and under should attack Elvarg at their own risk. It is generally recommended to have a combat level of 50 before attacking.

Finishing upYou are not finished once you kill Elvarg. The quest has been extended a bit. After Killing Elvarg a cut scene will start of you ripping off the dragon's head. Elvarg's head must be taken back to Oziach. But if you die and lose the head, you can't go back to kill it and get another one. Just go back and tell Oziach, and it will still complete the quest. Elvarg Is No More. Getting Out Run out of Elvarg's room and continue going south, avoiding skeletons and lesser demons. There is a "secret" wall in the way, which you can go through and end up in the Karamja volcano area. From then on, you can go back through the wall to train at Crandor Isle. Some players also exit first so they have an "escape hatch" ready if the fight should go badly. These are a few ways to get back to the mainland, once out of the dungeon:

Bring 30 coins when you head to Crandor. Then, buy passage to Port Sarim. Bring runes and teleport back to a city (Lumbridge Home Teleport or Explorer's Ring are possible). Ask Luthas to hire you and with the 30 coins earned, sail home. Near the Lesser Demons in the Karamja part of the dungeon are Fire Rune spawns, which can be sold to the general store. However, this is quite risky, as the demons are aggressive and only one level behind Elvarg. Kill Imps and sell the items dropped until 30gp is achieved (use this only if other ideas shown above are not possible) Pickpocket men until you get 30 gp (members) Sell the items that respawn in the general store, such as the rope (sells for 7gp), the knife (sells for 2 gp), etc. When you are finished with this quest you will be rewarded with 2 Quest Points, 18,650 Strength Experience, 18,650 Defense Experience, and the ability to wear Rune Platebody and Green Dragonhide Body! You also have access to Crandor Isle and access to free Anti-Dragon Shields (ask for one from  Duke Horacio)!

Ernest The Chicken Quest

Items Needed-
1. 1 Fish Food
2. 1 Bottle of Poison
3. 1 Tube
4. 1 Oil Can
5. 1 Pressure Gauge

Requirements-
1. Able to run away from or fight a level 22 Skeleton
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to Veronica, North of Draynor Village, South of Draynor Manor. Veronica wants you to find her fiance, Ernest. She says he entered Draynor Manor and hasn't come back yet. Enter the manor. If you want to see what happened to him, climb up the stairs and keep going up the floors until you reach the top. Talk to Professer Oddenstein, who will explain that Ernest was turned into a chicken. However, to change him back, the professor needs parts that were stolen and are somewhere in and around the manor. You need to help him find a pressure gauge, a rubber tube, and an oil can.

Pressure Gauge To get the pressure gauge, you will need fish food and poison. Fish food is found on the second floor, in the room behind the staircase. To get the poison you need to go the small room immediately south of the kitchen. It's a green bottle on the floor. Look for these two items, and when you've obtained them, go outside the manor through the east door grabbing a spade if you dont already have one and look for the fountain on the south-west side of the manor. Use the poison with the fish food so that it becomes Poisoned Fish Food. Use the poisoned fish food with the fountain that's at the southwest end of the manor to kill the piranhas in the water in order to grab the gauge. Then, search the fountain to get the gauge. If you don't use the poisoned fish food on the fountain, you will be bitten by the piranhas and take 1 damage.

Rubber Tube Find the spade in the room near the back door. When you've found it, take it and then go outside. Look for the compost on the west side of the manor. Use the spade with the compost and you will get a key. Go back into the manor through the front entrance, open the door containing the room with the skeleton. The skeleton will attack you before you grab the tube or after you pick it up, regardless of your level. If you enter the room, the door will lock behind you until the skeleton is defeated.

Oil Can There is a secret room in the manor. In the westernmost room on the ground floor is a book case. Click on it to push it and enter a secret room. Look for a ladder that leads downwards, and climb down it. You will be in the basement. There will be doors and switches around you. Follow these instructions to obtain the oil can. You will need to you use your map.

Pull lever A, pull lever B, enter the north eastern door, pull lever D, enter the south western door, enter the southern door, pull lever A, pull lever B, enter the north western door, enter the western door, enter the northern door, pull lever E, pull lever F, enter the eastern door, enter the eastern door, pull lever C, enter the north western door, enter the western door, pull lever E, enter the eastern door, enter the southern door, enter the southern door, and then enter the western door. You will now be in the room containing the oil can. Grab it, and leave the basement. Once you have left the basement you must pull the lever to exit the room.

Note, players can go up the ladder and then back down to reset all of the levers

Ending Go all the way up to the top floor and talk to the professor. Give him the items and he will fix his machine. Ernest will be turned back into a human. When Ernest is done talking to you, you will get a message saying you have completed the quest. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 4 Quest Points and 300 Coins!

Goblin Diplomacy Quest

Items Needed-
1. 3 Goblin Mail Armor
2. Blue and Orange Dye (2 Woad Leaves, 2 Onions, 3 Redberries, 35-40 coins)
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Go to Goblin Village and speak with General Bentnoze and Wartface. Like the goblin generals had said, the goblin race is on the brink of civil war over armour colour. They want orange armour. If you have not dyed anything yet, ask the generals "How do I get orange goblin mail?". After a while of chatting one will say "You get a goblin mail and dye it orange. Grubfoot stole Orange Dye from old lady in Draynor, perhaps you can get it there?". When you ask where to get a goblin mail, a general will say "In crates somewhere. Can't remember where, though." The armor is located in crates, one behind the general's hut, one next to the western hut, and one up a ladder near the entrance.

At Lumbridge, go to the backyard of Farmer Fred's farm, which is at next to the sheep paddock. Walk around behind it, and you will see a small Onion patch. Pick two, and continue to Falador.

Next go to the Varrock southeast mine. Just a bit to the northwest of the mine, between the mine and the Varrock city wall, there'll be two types of berry bush. The pink bushes are Cadavera berries. These are poisonous and have no use except in the Romio & Juliet quest. The red bushes are Redberries. You will need three Redberries from the bushes. You can also buy redberries at the Gnome Copter general store.

Next go to Falador Park. Talk to Wyson the head gardener which you will find east in the park. He sells Woad Leaves. Ask him if you can buy some. When do so, he'll ask how much you are willing to pay. When the menu comes up click "about 20 Coins". He'll say you are generous and will give you 2 woad leaves. The alternative is to click "about 15 coins" and he will give you one woad leaf. Do this again, and the total price being 30 coins.

Now, walk south out of Falador, then follow the road past the farm with the chickens, and continue east until you reach Draynor Village. Go to Aggie the witch. Ask her if she can make you anything. She will say she can make dyes. Ask her to make either a blue, red, or yellow dye. Do this 3 times, doing a different colour every time. Every dye will cost you 5 coins. When you have every one, mix the red and yellow dyes to make orange. Dye one goblin mail orange, one blue, and leave the last one brown. Go back to Goblin Village.

Give the orange mail to the generals. They will have a goblin try it on, and say they do not like it. They will then tell you to bring them blue now. Give them the blue mail. They will will have the goblin try it on again, and reject it again. They want brown now. Give them the plain brown mail. The goblin tries it on for the last time. they decide that brown armour is best. You are now finished and earn 200 Crafting Experience, a gold bar, and 5 Quest Points!

Imp Catcher Quest

Items Needed-
1. 1 Red Bead
2. 1 Black Bead
3. 1 White Bead
4. 1 Yellow Bead
_________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to the wizard at the very top of the wizard tower to start this quest. To get the beads you can either kill imps and raise your combat or you can buy them at Grand Exchange (a.k.a. G.E.). Then go back and talk to that same wizard to end the quest. After you pass the quest, you get an Amulet Of Accuracy and one or two Quest Points. If you want to kill the imps instead of buying the beads, Karamja is the best place to kill the imps (next to the Volcano in Karamja)

The Knight's Sword Quest

Items Needed-
1. A Redberry Pie
2. A Pickaxe
3. 2 Iron Bars (4 if you want your own Blurite Sword)
4. 1 Blurite Ore (2 if you want your own Blurite Sword)
Requirements-
1. Level 10 mining
2. The ability to evade level 57 Ice Warriors and level 53 Ice Giants
3. Helpful but not required: level 15 Smithing to smelt 2 Iron Bars (or 4 Iron Bars if you want your own Blurite Sword)
4. Level 10 Cooking to cook a Redberry Pie
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to the Squire located in the White Knight's Castle in Falador. For convenience's sake, it is advised for players to get the necessary items before starting the quest. This means getting 2 iron bars (4 if you want your own copy of the blurite sword) and a redberry pie. Players may either make these themselves, which requires 15 Mining and Smithing for the bars, and 10 Cooking for the pie. Alternatively, players may simply buy them at the Grand Exchange.

The squire in Falador will tell you he lost Sir Wyvin's sword, and would like you to help him replace it. The squire will tell you to talk to Reldo, Varrock's librarian. Go to Varrock Castle and to go the far north of the castle to find Reldo.

Ask Reldo about Imcando dwarves. Reldo will tell you that one is located south of Port Sarim. If you haven't already made a redberry pie, make one now. If you have, continue to Port Sarim and then head south.

You should see a small house on the side of a hill with an anvil logo. Look for Thurgo, the Imcando dwarf. Ask him if he would like some redberry pie, an offer he'll readily accept. Talk to him again, and ask him about the sword. He says he'll need a picture of it. Go back to Falador and talk to the squire again.

The squire will tell you that Sir Vyvin has a portrait of the sword in his room. Go to the third floor of the castle and find Sir Vyvin (his room can only be accessed from the second floor, up the stairs in the middle of the castle). Look for a cupboard nearby and open it and search it. You will obtain a portrait that shows the sword. However, Sir Vyvin will stop you if he is in the room. There are three ways to avoid this:

Have a friend talk to Sir Vyvin while you open and search the cupboard. Open the door to his room and wait for him to walk out. However, this will take a very long time. Just shut the door when he leaves and then search the cupboard. Have the door open, and wait next to the cupboard. When Sir Vyvin walks behind the door, quickly search the cupboard.
Once you have the portrait, go back to Thurgo.

Talk to Thurgo and give him the portrait. He will tell you that the sword he is making is a Blurite Sword, however he will need the materials to make the sword. You will have to enter the dungeon on the hill nearby to obtain the blurite ore, with your trusty pickaxe, of course. All enemies in the cave are aggressive so bringing food and armour is a good idea. When you see white ahead of you, be prepared to run along the walls to find the blurite rocks, which are grey with bright blue streaks running down the sides. Mine one or two blurite ore depending on whether or not you wish to create a sword for yourself. When you have the amount of blurite you want, run out.

It may be helpful to have a bodyguard to protect you from the aggressive monsters; however, if done correctly, a level 3 player can get the ore.

Note that the spot right next to the entrance to the members-only area of this dungeon where the Skeletal Wyverns are is a safe spot. It is recommended you mine the blurite ore rock right next to this area, so you can easily retreat to safety if necessary.

The blurite rocks now have the "seam rock" style with only a vein of colour, instead of their old solid colour style and the positions have changed from those shown in many guides.

Talk to Thurgo with your blurite ores and your iron bars. He will make you a sword. To make more swords for yourself, drop the sword Thurgo just made and talk to him again with the materials. He will the make you a second sword. Pick up the sword you dropped. If players want to, they can continue repeating this to obtain as many swords as they like.

Go back to the squire and talk to him. If you talk to him while holding two or more swords, he will only take one of them. You will be done with the quest when you've given him the sword. Note that if you lose these swords, there is absolutely no way to get them back. When you are finished with this quest you will be rewarded with 1 Quest Point and 12,725 Smithing Experience (and a Blurite Sword if you got Thurgo to make you an extra one)! You are now able to mine Blurite ore now!

Learning The Ropes Quest (Runescape Tutorial)

Items Needed-
1.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Before you get started, you must create your character. You must fill in a few things: Mouse, Gender, Head, and Body options. The Mouse menu is to choose how many mouse buttons you have: one or two. The Gender menu lets you decide your character's gender (male or female). The Head menu lets you decide what your character's hair, skin, and beard will look like. The Body menu lets the player decide what the avatar's clothing and body will look like. The Creating your Character part of the tutorial reminds you that all settings put in can always be changed at a later date.

The Mentor After you customize your character, you must speak to Sir Vant, a White Knight. He will tell you that he is there to fight a large, dangerous, three-headed dragon. A cutscene will follow, with Sir Vant attempting to defeat the dragon. While he is fighting, he will warn you that a goblin had come down from the village to steal money. The goblin cannot hurt you, because it had been stunned by some falling boulders. After you kill the goblin and pick up its drops (bones and three coins), Sir Vant Will tell you about things like drops and your inventory.

Prepare to Ascend to the Surface Vant will tell you about your Quest List, death, and random events. He will then ask you to get him some supplies. Right as the player continues to the surface of Lumbridge, the three-headed dragon appears again, along with a mysterious Chaos Druid. Sir Vant tells you to go to Nemarti and quickly get a Training Bow and Arrows to kill the druid, which is helping the dragon. Go upstairs. Use the run button to reach the next tutor.

Practice Ranged. Next, you must go to Nemarti, the Ranged Tutor. Nemarti can be found near all the other Combat Tutors. She will give the weapons to you and tell you to practice on the targets before facing the druid. Go back down to Sir Vant and kill the Chaos Druid (Lv 13) with your arrows.

Note: You will have to use long-range, so you can no longer have 0 defence xp.

The next few sections can be completed in any order.

The Bank tutor Follow the arrow towards the staircases in Lumbridge Castle. Climb to the top floor to reach the bank. Talk to the Bank Tutor to open your bank account. Deposit an item, then drag it into the + sign to start a new tab. After you have mastered tabbed banking, you will be finished with this section.

Fish for Crayfish Next, go to Finlay, the Fishing Tutor. He will give you a Crayfish Cage for catching Crayfish. You finish once you catch two crayfish and read the skill interface.

Cook some Crayfish Next, go to Cordero, the Cooking Tutor. He will teach you how to Cook the crayfish. You will always burn your first crayfish. The next one will always be successful. Go back down to Sir Vant and give him the crayfish.

Obtain a bag of runes Sir Vant tells you to get some Runes from Mikasi for him so he can weaken the dragon. Makasi is found near the Ranged tutor. Mikasi will give you some Mind Runes and Air Runes, but will not trust you with more advanced runes until you master magic. Once you cast Wind Strike on the Magic Dummies, she will give you a Bag Of Runes. Give this to Sir Vant.

Learn about Prayer Talk to the Prayer Tutor, Yauchomi. Look at your prayer list and use Thick Skin. Play the organ, then view your prayer list again to see that your prayer points have drained to zero. Recharge your prayer at the altar, talk to the tutor, then bury your bones.

Mine copper and tin ore Visit the Lumbridge Mine and talk to the Mining Tutor, Monlum. He will give you a Bronze Pickaxe. Prospect the rocks until you find copper ore. Mine it, talk to the instructor, then prospect the other set of rocks to find tin ore. Mine it as well. This section and the Smithing Section can be skipped and the quest can still be finished.

Smith a woodcutting axe. Talk to Feoras, the Smithing Apprentice to learn how to use furnaces. Smelt your tin and copper to retrieve a Bronze Bar.

Back in the mines, talk to Sani the Smithing Tutor to get a hammer and learn how to smith items on an anvil. Make a Bronze Bar.

Chop down trees for logs Talk to Wilfred the Woodcutting Tutor. He will tell you to cut down a tree with your axe to obtain some Logs. Do so.

Prepare a fire Visit the General Store and talk to the shopkeeper. Trade with the shopkeeper and buy a tinderbox with one of your coins. Visit Sir Vant and talk to him. Make a fire in the designated spot by using your tinderbox with your logs.

Showdown! Talk to Sir Vant. He will briefly explain cooking on a fire. Next, you will gain access to the Emotes menu. Try an emote. Next, open up your music player and play a song of your choice. Open up your Friends List, Ignore List, Clan Chat, and Options lists. Then adjust the text filter buttons at the bottom of the screen. View the Report Abuse Button to finish the tutorial. Talk to Sir Vant one last time, then climb up the ladder to begin playing RuneScape! When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 2 Experience Lamps(gives you 250 Experience), 1 Quest Point, Freedom to Chat, and access to the rest of Runescape!

Pirate's Treasure Quest

Items Needed-
1. Karamja Rum
2. 1 White Apron
3. 1 Spade
4. 90 Coins

Requirement-
1. Able to defeat or run away from a Combat level 4 Gardener
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Go to the Northernmost Dock at Port Sarim, just South of the Pub.

Preparation- First of all, find a White Apron. These can be bought from the clothing store in Varrock, as well as being found hanging on the back wall of Gerrant's Fishy Business. They may also be bought from other players.

Redbeard Frank
Talk to Redbeard Frank. He wants you to get some Karamja Rum before he'll tell you the location of the treasure. So, walk south on the docks to see three sailors, Captain Tobais, Seaman Lorris, and Seaman Thresnor. Talk to any one of these sailors to board the ship to Karamja for 30 coins.

Getting and smuggling the Karamja rum

On Karamja, make your way west towards the Karamja Wines, Spirits, and beers bar. On your map, it will have a picture of a beer glass. Walk inside and trade with the bartender Zambo. Buy one Karamja Rum(costs 30 coins).

Do not leave the island just yet. If you do, the Customs Officer will take your rum away, as Asgarnia has banned the import of intoxicating spirits. Do not try to teleport off the island with the rum, because the bottle will break in the process. Go back towards the ship, but before you reach the customs guards, go north to talk to Luthas, the owner of the banana plantation. Talk to him and he will hire you as his worker. He also says that his crates are not searched by the customs guards if you ask him about the customs officer. So, he wants you to put some bananas inside his crate outside his store. Agree to help him. Walk outside his store and then go back west and enter the banana plantation beside his house. Click on the banana trees to obtain bananas. Grab 10 Bananas.

Next, walk towards the crate outside Luthas' store. Use your rum with the crate to hide it. Next, use the bananas with the crate (or right click on the crate and choose Fill Crate). When you can no longer put any more bananas in your crate, talk to Luthas and obtain your payment. Ask him where the crate goes, and he will tell you they go to a person named Wydin who owns the food store in Port Sarim. So talk to the customs officers and go back to Port Sarim.

Recovering and delivering the rum to Redbeard Frank

When you get off the ship, find the food store, which should be south a bit. Enter the store and look for a door at the back of the store. Try to enter it. Wydin will tell you only employees can go there. Ask to work for him, and if you have your white apron on you, he'll agree. If you do not have a white apron you may obtain one from the fish store to the north. Garret keeps a white apron hanging on the north wall. After being employed enter the room and search the crate in the room. You should find your rum. Take it and go back to Redbeard Frank.

Getting the pirate's clue

Frank gives you a key to a chest in a bar in Varrock. So go to Varrock and go to the southern entrance, and stand outside the sword shop. To the east, there should be a bar. It will be the Blue Moon Inn. Go upstairs in the bar and look for a chest in one of the rooms. Use the key you got from Frank on the chest to obtain a Pirate Message. It will give you a clue to the treasure's location.

Digging the treasure

Before you do the following, get a Spade. You can buy spades at farming stores, and they spawn in a number of locations, such as the mine near Rimmington, the southeast room of Draynor Manor, or inside the real estate agency south-west of Falador Park. Once you have a spade, go to Falador and look for the park. It is north of the eastern bank. It is very large and cannot be missed.

Now look for a statue of Saradomin. Look at where he is pointing. You must remember though, that he is NOT in fact pointing directly at where you should stand. Look at how the configuration of the dirt makes an X. It may not look like an "X" if you are facing north. You may have to rotate a little. When in the center of the "X" you should be fairly close to Saradomin. Stand in the middle of the dirt "X" and click on your spade to dig. A Gardener will then start fighting you. Kill him, or run out of the park and then run back in, and then dig again in the same spot to get a another chest. You have completed Pirate's Treasure, now open the chest and claim your reward!

Note: In Runescape Classic, the player must dig behind the bench by using the spade with the flowers.

When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 2 Quest Points, One-eyed Hector's Treasure Chest (contains 450 Coins, cut Emerald, and a Gold Ring), and you can use the Payfare option to go to and from Karamja!

Prince Ali Rescue Quest

Items Needed-
1. 7 Balls of Wool(or 3 balls of wool and a Rope)
2. 2 Onions
3. Redberries
4. Ashes
5. Flour6
6. Bucket of Water
7. Soft Clay
8. Bronze Bar
9. Pink Skirt
10. 3 Beers (best to take 4, in case one is accidentally drunk),
11. 50 Coins
These items can all be bought at the Grand Exchange quite easily.

Requirements-
1. Able to get past aggressive level 26 Jail Guards in a Multicombat Area
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Go to the Palace in Al-Kharid and speak to Hassan. Again, the below can all be bought at the Grand Exchange quite easily. Ideally, players should begin in Varrock, where you can buy or withdraw the items from the bank. You also need a pickaxe to mine with, an axe for woodcutting, and a tinderbox, though you may find ashes from someone else's fire. If you can't find ashes already, cut a tree, light the logs and then wait for it to burn out, while banking the axe and tinderbox you no longer need. Alternatively, you can kill an Imp and take the ashes it drops. Bring your shears if you already have them to save time. You should also withdraw some cash, to pay for the required items and toll gate crossings.

Buy the pink skirt at the clothes shop, then leave by the south city exit. Buy the 3 (or 4) beers at the Blue Moon Inn on the way out.

At the Varrock East mine, you can mine one Tin and one Copper to make the bronze bar, and pick one Redberry from the nearby bushes. At the west mine, you can mine one clay then go to the sheep pen and shear seven sheep.

If you have not already started the quest, then go south into the Al-Kharid desert area, passing the scorpion mine, down to the palace and begin the quest, otherwise take the road south towards Lumbridge. Cross the north bridge to the forge, and smith a bronze bar there, or use the Al-Kharid forge if you are there.

Go to Lumbridge Castle and spin all the wool, then take a pot from the kitchen and a bucket from the basement if you need them. Fill the bucket with water, wet the clay with it, then fill it again.

Follow the road north out of Lumbridge, then go to the Farmer Fred's house. Behind his house there is a garden with 12 onions. Pick two onions, then back to the road for the grain field and mill to make the flour.

At this point, you should now be carrying:

7 Balls of wool (from shearing sheep and spinning the wool), Ashes (make or find a fire, once it burns out you should get ashes or kill an imp), Bucket Of Water/Jug Of Water(bucket or jug bought in any General Store, filled at any water source), Pot Of Flour (respawn in the Cooking Guild), Bronze Bar (mine tin and copper), Soft Clay (use clay with a bucket, jug or bowl of water), 2 Onions, Redberries (found south of Varrock, North of Lumbridge's windmill by Gnomecopters, or bought from Port Sarim Food Shop), 3 Beers (normal beer), Pink Skirt (from Varrock's clothes shop).
The quest You begin your quest in the palace of Al-Kharid by talking to (Chancellor) Hassan. He will direct you to a shifty looking fellow outside the northern perimeter of the palace, who goes by the name of Osman. Osman will in turn tell you to find and speak to his daughter Leela, who can be found strolling east of Draynor Village, near the field. Talk to Leela and she will tell you what you need.

If you look west from where you are standing when talking to Leela, you should see the door to Ned's house - get the Rope and Wig made from the balls of wool. Go into the cul-de-sac and ask Aggie to make you a Yellow dyen and a Skin paste. Dye the wig, then put everything in the Bank but the soft clay, as your next stop is the jail, and lower-levelled players could die there. The Jail is located immediately to the south-east of draynor. If you have not done so yet, you could get some armor and combat equipment for the next step, along with some food if you are lower-levelled. The guards are level 26, and you must be prepared to fight or flee from them.

Go in to the building as quickly as possible, or attack the guards. This is a multi-combat area however, so unless you're level-53 or higher, you should not attempt to attack them. A good idea would be to bring food, even though they only hit up to a mere 3 damage. If you can, close the door to the jail behind you before continuing on, although this may not be possible due to other players coming in and also trying to complete the quest.

Talk to Lady Keli about anything other than Katrine. Importantly, try to select options that flatter her, suggesting how famous she is. If she isn't in or around the building, wait a little - she'll respawn as sometimes other players will defeat her as a part of the quest later on. Then, tell her she's famous all over RuneScape, then ask her about her latest plan, and that she must have been very skillful. Ask her then if she's sure Prince Ali won't go out.

Ask her if you can see the key and then if you can take it for a short amount of time. Ask then to touch the key. You should have the Soft Clay with you at this time, so make an imprint into the clay. If you forgot the clay, you need to go back to the bank or obtain it somehow and repeat this whole dialog all over again.

Check in with Leela, and she'll tell you to take the imprint and bronze bar to Osman - that means two more trips through the toll gate, coming back to collect the key from Leela. If you still need to talk to Joe before Leela is happy, then bank the key, go and do it.

Now that Leela is happy with the plan, you now need to take:

Rope, Wig, Skin paste, Pink skirt, Key, 3 beers,
And head for the jail.

Talk to Joe and offer him a drink, and another, and another. The option to offer Joe a drink is on the first dialog screen, and if you talk about anything thing else, you won't be able to offer him a beer until you start the conversation all over again. Say I have some beer to start the conversation with Joe, and then offer additional drinks as he becomes more inebriated.

Use the rope on Lady Keli to capture here. At this point you should hurry, as Lady Keli will respawn in about a minute or so. If she does respawn before you enter the cell with Prince Ali, you need to get another rope and tie up Keli.

Use the key on the cell door, then talk to Prince Ali and he will use the disguise and escape. A message will appear saying that you are now a friend of Al-Kharid and you don't have to pay to enter the gate connecting Lumbridge and Al-Kharid ever again. Now get out, trying to avoid the remaining guards. Don't be long, as Lady Keli will quickly respawn!

Now go pass through the gate that connects Lumbridge and Al-Kharid for free (or go take the long way around), and go and talk to Hassan in the Al-Kharid palace to claim your reward.

From now on, should you attempt to talk to Lady Keli, a message appears over her head (the same way a message appears over a player's head when he/she speaks) saying that you tricked her. She will tell guards to get you, in which one of the guards says, "Yes, M'Lady" and attacks you, however you can escape by running out of the jail grounds. The guards will only attack you if your combat level is 52 or under. If it's higher than 52 they will leave you alone. When you are done with this quest you will be rewarded with 3 Quest Points, 700 Coins, and free passage through the Lumbridge-Al-Kharid toll gate! MEMBERS will also have access to the Sorceress's Garden minigame!

Restless Ghost Quest

Items Needed-
1. Ghost's Skull
2. Amulet of Ghostspeak
_______________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Start by talking to Father Aerick at the Lumbridge Church. Then he will tell you to speak to Father Urnhey about an AMULET. You can find him far back in the LUMBRIDGE SWAMP in the SECOND HOUSE. Talk to him and tell him about how FATHER AERICK SENT YOU and he will give you the AMULET OF GHOSTSPEAK. Then you must go talk to the GHOST in the Lumbridge GRAVEYARD and he will tell you to find his SKULL in the WIZARD'S TOWER. The SKULL is in the BASEMENT of the TOWER on an ALTER. Grab the SKULL but BE CAREFUL because a LEVEL 13 SKELETON will appear and ATTACK YOU

Romeo & Juliette Quest

Items Needed-
1. Cadava Berries
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Speak to romeo in Varrock Center.

Speaking To Juliet- Talk to Juliet, she is located in the second floor of the house(usually standing on the balcony or sometimes in her bedroom) directly out of Varrock west gate, just west of the bank. She will give you a letter to give to Romeo.

Father Lawrence Romeo reads the letter and doesn't know what to do. He suggests going to Father Lawrence, who is located in the church north of Varrock's east bank. After a bit of an argument, he mentions a cadava potion, and asks you to speak to the Apothecracy just west of Varrock's south gate. He is in a little house, with the symbol of a purple potion, right at the back of the sword shop.

The Potion- Speak to the Apothecracy and he will tell you he needs Cadava Berries. They can be found near the Varrock East Mine. You will need to pick them from the bushes with the pink berries. The Red Berries are Redberries, and can not be used for the quest. Alternately, you can grow a cadava bush and pick berries off it. When you have them, return to the Apothecary and he will give you the potion. Drinking this potion yourself would result in temporarily knocking yourself out.

The Plan- Now, head back to Juliet and give her the potion. You will now see a Cutscene of her "dying", though she really falls into a coma. Go back to Romeo and tell him that he must rescue Juliet from the crypt. Apparently, he needs someone to accompany him.
To The Crypt You will now see another cut scene of you entering with Romeo. When he sees Juliet's cousin, Philipa, he forgets all about Juliet and falls in love with her. You have now completed the quest! If you talk to Juliet again she will seem fed up with Romeo. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 5 Quest Points!

Rune Mysteries Quest

Items Needed-
1. Talisman (givin to you by the Duke)
2. Sedridor's notes
3. Aubury's research
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Talk to the Duke Horacio in Lumbridge Castle. He will give you a talisman, usually Air as the first. If you lose this talisman, you can go back to the Duke and get another one. Take the talisman to the HEAD WIZARD at the WIZARDS TOWER. The HEAD WIZARD is in the basement; his name is SEDRIDOR. Tell him you are in search of the HEAD WIZARD and he will play cluless. Eventually he WILL ASK FOR THE TALISMAN. You give it to him and he will give you his NOTES to give to AUBURY IN THE VARROCK RUNE SHOP. The shop would be located in the BACK ALLEYS OF VARROCK. The RUNE SHOP SIGN ON THE WORLD MAP IS A FIRE SIGN.Once you find him, he will take the notes and ask you to wait while he studies them (you can walk around for about 20seconds and then talk to him again). He will then give you his research, which is in a box shaped like a GIFT/PRESENT. You must then take it back to SEDRIDOR in the WIZARDS TOWER (you could use the LUMBRIDGE HOME TELEPORT to help get to the WIZARDS TOWER faster). Go to him and give him the RESEARCH and you are done! You will get the ABILITY TO USE RUNECRAFTING and you will get 1 QUEST POINT!

Sheep Shearer Quest

Items Needed-
1. Shears (found at Fred the Farmer's Farm)
2. 50 Coins (to buy shears)
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start: Northwest of Lumbridge, there is a person named Farmer Fred inside the house surrounded with chickens. Go inside and talk to him.

Quick way- The easiest way to complete this quest is to buy 20 balls of wool at a general store or Grand Exchange, then just give them to Farmer Fred.(16gp each/320gp for all)

Long way- If you feel like actually doing the work, follow these instructions: First of all, grab the shears off the table in Farmer Freds house. Next, talk to Farmer Fred. Tell him you're looking for a quest. He will give you one, which will be to get him 20 balls of wool. Leave his house and enter the fenced area on the east side of his house. This is the sheep pen. You can either use your shears with the sheep or left-click on them to shear them. Sheep with wool will look puffy, and sheep without wool will look skinny. If a sheep has no wool, wait a few minutes and the wool will eventually appear on them. Sometimes they will run away from you if you try to shear them; just keep trying and you'll eventually get their wool.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Once you have 20 pieces of wool, you must now spin them into balls of wool. Enter Lumbridge Castle and head to the second floor. In one of the rooms is a spinning wheel. Click on it and spin the 20 pieces of wool you have. When they are all balls of wool, go back to Fred the Farmer to finish the quest. If you do not have the space to carry all 20 pieces of wool, you can make smaller deliveries until you reach the required total.

Diversions- There are two diversions in this quest.

Rams look very similar to sheep. If you left-click them, you'll attack them, as they cannot be sheared. If you're a very low-level player, it's best to be careful and try not to attack them.
"The Thing." Fred the Farmer will warn you about "The Thing" and tells you to be wary of it. In the sheep pen, one of the sheep has an option to talk to it. This is "The Thing" Fred the Farmer mentioned. All it is is two Penguins in a disguise. They have a role in the Cold War quest (member's quest). If you've tried to shear "The Thing", the penguins will squeak and run from you. You can talk with Fred the Farmer about "The Thing" and have an interesting conversation. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 1 Quest Point, 60 Coins, and 150 Crafting Experience!

Shield Of Arrav Quest

Items Needed-
1. 20 Coins, if you want to join the Phoenix Gang
2. 2 coins and 2 Pheonix Crossbows, if you want to join the Black Arm Gang

Requirements-
1. A trustworthy friend or partner
2. If you want to join the Black Arm Gang, the ability to kill a level 26 enemy
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
How To Start:  Varrock library. Talk to Reldo, the librarian or Charlie the Tramp.

It is important at this time to decide which gang you wish to join. This choice is important for two reasons:

You need a member of the opposite gang to cooperate with you in order to complete this quest. This choice will show up for future quests if you decide to become a member. Most notably, the Hero's Quest has gang related activities where item trading between both gangs is also an important feature.
Being a member of the Phoenix gang is more complicated and expensive to complete, but gives you a larger headquarters and access to the Pheonix Crossbow directly. It also requires you to defeat combat level 23 personality in close combat in order to help the Black Arm gang member complete his tasks.

The Black Arm gang is recommended if a player has lower combat levels, and is a cheaper alternative with close cooperation from a Phoenix gang member.

Pheonix Gang- Talk to Reldo, located in Varrock's library, in Varrock Palace. Ask him about a quest and he will tell you there's a book on something in the library. You have to now search the book case with a blue book. When you've found it, read or skim through it.(The book is blue.) After you've read the book, talk with Reldo and ask him where you can find the Phoenix Gang. He doesn’t know, but he says the fur trader Baraek might.

Baraek is located in the centre of Varrock. He buys and sells furs, and his stall is marked with an icon of a bear fur. Talk to him and ask about the Phoenix Gang. He will want you to give him 20 coins for info. Give him 20 coins, and he will tell you it is located in the south-east corner of Varrock.

The hideout is near the south-east corner of Varrock. It is a bit south of the rune shop. Look for a red exclamation mark (!) on your map to find the hideout. When you've found the red exclamation mark, you will see a ladder. Climb down it to enter the Phoenix Gang's hideout.

Inside the hideout, talk to Straven. If you ask to join, he will mention the Varrock Herald Newspaper. This is a cover up. There should be an option that you can tell him that you know who he is, that he is part of the Phoenix Gang. If this option isn't there, go back to Baraek and ask him about the Phoenix gang again.... you missed getting all of the information from Baraek.

Straven will want you to kill Johnny the Beard (combat level 2). He is located in Varrock's Blue Moon Inn. This bar/restaurant is located near the south entrance of Varrock. Go inside the bar and find Johnny the Beard and kill him (he may need to respawn). It should be noted that some players may just attack Johnny "for fun" or to simply be annoying. If that happens, you might want to Switch Worlds and find a world that doesn't have this happening.

Johnny will drop a report which Straven wants. Grab the report and bring it back to Straven. Talk to Straven while having the report in your inventory, and you will become a Phoenix Gang member allowing you to enter the hideout. Straven will also give you the Weapon Store Key. Do not worry about the thieves walking around if you are at a low combat level; they're not aggressive to any players as long as you don't attack them first.

Look around for a chest in the south-west corner of the hideout to find one half of the Shield of Arrav. You can only grab one shield at a time.

Black Arms Gang- To join the Black Arm Gang, talk to Charlie The Tramp located near the south entrance of Varrock. Ask him what’s down the alley, and he’ll tell you that it’s the Black Arm Gang’s hideout. Go down the alley and enter the building. Look for a woman named Katrine and talk to her.

Tell her you know about her gang and that you won't give your source. Tell her to prove that you're trustworthy and she will give you a task to join her gang.

Katrine wants you to steal the Phoenix Gang's stuff. She wants 2 of their crossbows. However, you will need a partner or friend to join the Phoenix Gang for this part of the quest.

When your partner/friend has joined the Phoenix Gang, he/she will be given a key. Ask for this key. When you have it, go to the Phoenix Gang's hideout outside. Look for a door that is locked. When you've found it, use the key with the door and climb up the ladder.

You will have to kill the Weaponmaster on this floor. After that take 2 Phoenix crossbows. Once you have them, go back to Katrine, and you will become a member of the Black Arm Gang. Go upstairs in the hideout and look for a cupboard, which contains one half of the Shield of Arrav.

Finishing Up Take your half of the shield to King Roald. He will say that you need a certificate for the reward and that you need see the Curator in Varrock Museum. Go and see him. The museum is is north of the east bank.

When you talk to the Curator, he will give you 2 Halves of the Certificate. Your partner who has the other half of the Shield of Arrav, will get the other halves of the certificate. Trade 1 half of the certificate with your partner for the other 1 half. When you have both halves, use one of them on the other, to get a full certificate.

If working with additional players who want to get the half of a certificate from you, it would be wise to take the half certificates to the bank, store them, grab another shield half from your respective gang house and present it to the Curator. There is no practical limit to how many certificate halves you can have, but it is a tedious process going back and forth to the Curator and the gang stronghold. You can have only one shield half in your inventory at any given time. Also, keep in mind that once you have completed this quest, you can no longer obtain the shield half any more, although you can continue to keep certificate halves in your bank account indefinitely after you have completed the quest... or trade for them with other players.

Take that certificate to the King to get your reward. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 1 Quest Point and 600 Coins!

2. 1 Stake (obtained during quest)
3. 1-2 Garlic (obtained during quest)

1. Able to defeat a Level 34 Vampire

How To Start: Talk to Morgan in Draynor Village. The building he is located in is just north of Ned's building. He will tell you that a vampire is causing distress by killing the inhabitants of Draynor Village. He asks you to kill it. He will tell you to go to the Blue Moon Inn and talk to Dr. Harlow who he says was a former vampire slayer.
Before heading to Varrock, go upstairs in the same building you talked to Morgan in and go to the west side of the room and you will see a cupboard. Open it and search it to receive Garlic
. Next, obtain a hammer. You can either buy a Hammer from a general store for 1gp. (Port Sarim, a nearby town, has one), or withdraw one from your bank. (there is a bank in Draynor Village, the same place that you started this quest).
Now head to southern varrock. Go to the Blue Moon Inn
which is located there. When approaching from the south entrance, you will see first a cottage to the east, and directly north of it, an inn with a blue moon sign. This is the Blue Moon Inn. Once inside, talk to Dr. Harlow. Tell him Morgan needs his help. He will want you to buy him a beer. Talk to the bartender in the room, buy a beer, and then talk to Dr. Harlow again. He will talk about vampires and give you a stake.
Now that you have the required items, you must now fight the vampire. Make sure you at least have Garlic
, a Hammer, and the stake. (a Weapon, Armor, and Food might help as well). Go to Draynor Village, and then head north to Draynor Manor. Inside, go east towards large stairs that lead downwards. Go down them. There will be a coffin in the centre of the room. Open it and the Count Draynor (The level 34 Vampire) will come out of his coffin and attack you. If you have Garlic, he will become very weak and can be more easily defeated. (Despite this, it is still useful to note that if you don't have any, every time you hit a "0" on him, Count Draynor will heal 1 hit point of health.) There is also a known Safespot in the Count's lair: just lure him so that he walks into one of the red banners around the walls of his crypt and stay directly behind the banner adjacent to his own. This can give you time to heal, take other necessary actions before attacking him again or to use numerous sneak attacks on him ("hit-n'-run" sort of strikes). The best way to kill him is by using the fire strike attack, for low leveled players, so make sure you have lots of runes!
If or when you defeat him, you will automatically stab him with the hammer and the stake. When he is dead, you will have finished the quest. If he disappears before you have the chance to stake him, you simply need to kill him faster, as he disappears after a period of time. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 3 Quest Points and 4,825 Attack Experience.

How To Start: Talk to Hetty in her house in Rimmington, South of Falador and West of Port Sarim. This is one of the easiest quests that exists. You should have no problem with this, no matter what level you are.
Hetty-
Talk to Hetty and tell her you want to know more about the black arts. She will tell you she needs four ingredients. You need to get a rat's tail, burnt meat, an eye of newt, and an onion.
Getting the ingredients-
Rat's Tail: Simply find any normal sized rat in Rimmington and kill it.
Burnt Meat: Kill any creature that drops meat (for example one of the Cows in Lumbridge farm or one of the rats in Rimmington). Then, "burn" the meat. Use a cooking range (for example the one right above Hetty's house) or cook it on a normal fire with logs (you will need a tinderbox and axe to do this). If you have too high a cooking level to burn it, simply use the cooked meat with the fire/range and your meat will always end up being burnt.
Eye Of Newt: You can buy an eye of newt from the Magic shop in Port Sarim or at the Grand Exchange. Any magic shop is labelled with a small Fire Rune on your minimap.
Onion: Either pick one, or farm one. Onions can be found in a field northwest of Rimmington or in the field behind Fred's Farmhouse to the north-west of Lumbridge, beside the road leading to the crossroads at Draynor Village.
Finishing the quest-
When you have all these items, talk to Hetty. She'll put them in her cauldron and tell you to drink from it. Drink from the cauldron to complete the quest. When you have finished this quest you will be rewarded with 1 Quest Point and 325 Magic Experience!
